Why do I earn points just for moving around?
The app's developer GeoTechnologies Inc. has been creating digital maps for more than 25 years.
In order to update the maps on a daily basis, the company collects information on road openings and spot openings/closings from government authorities, newspapers, Internet, and other sources. However, in order to provide more detailed maps and real-time updates, and to create new location businesses, the company collects location data and compensates users by rewarding them with points.
The data collected by the app is anonymized so that individuals cannot be identified when the data is used.
